Come join us for a special event where we will dive into the local economy and discuss our community vision for the future. David will present a high-level view of the local economy, including the opportunities, near- and long-term challenges, and a vision for the future of our communities.This in-person event will be held at the Fort George Brewery Lovell Room, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for our discussions. Don't miss this opportunity to gain valuable insights and connect with others who share a passion for our community's growth and development. Time permitting, David may even give a brief description and history of our 152-year-old chamber of commerce.
David Reid has been the Executive Director of the Astoria-Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce since 2018 and currently serves on the Boards of Directors of Oregon Business and Industry, Clatsop Economic Development Resources, the Clatsop County Historical Society, and the Astoria Riverfront Trolley Association. He and his wife, Lisa, own Lucy’s Books in downtown Astoria. They have been ABC’s – Astorians By Choice – since 2002.
