Nearly 1/4 of the 21st century is complete, and the workplace has forever changed. Are you ready? Are you ready for the workplace of the future? Your leadership skills take on increased importance in a workplace filled with new challenges, and with an uncertain workforce that has greater need for renewed coping skills. How will you respond?

We will spend two hours on an advanced leadership workshop, focusing on you and your leadership skills, using the DiSC© (Dominance, influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness) model as our guide. We'll see how the modern HR Executive can guide their people through these uncertain times, understanding how different workers, with dissimilar working styles, need diverse techniques to help them move towards greater productivity in the high performing workplace in front of us.

Each attendee will have the opportunity to complete the DiSC© profile, a highly validated assessment of leadership behaviors. Using video and conversation, you will see what works and does not work with your particular style, how others view you, and how you can be more effective with subordinates, peers, and your senior managers.

    Workplace Application:

Attendees will improve their leadership capabilities in the emerging workplace by learning important leadership concepts through the use of DiSC©.

    Recertification /Learning Objectives:

    1. Understand four basic leadership styles (Dominance, influence, Steadiness, Conscientiousness), and help make a determination of what your prime leadership style(s) is (are).

    2. Learn how to communicate better with your employees, including leaders, peers, and those who report to you.

    3. Understand how the developing workplace has altered leadership challenges, and how you can do a better job leading in future situations.

    4. Determine what techniques you can employ to help you, your company, and your employees move forward and build the resilience to succeed.
